Wild Awake is hitting the ground in October to get amongst the action. This 11 days experiential tour is for anyone who wants to get on the tools! Whether you’re a tradie with skills or you have never picked up a hammer before, there’s a place for you on the team. Wild Awake’s focus on their trips is to cultivate greater wellbeing for both the individual, the environment and the global community.
This experience captures it all in one. In partnership with Australian non-profit organisation RAW Impact, you will experience hands-on rural village development through building, education and agricultural projects. The Wild Awake team will make a huge impact on two different projects; Ta Skor Village (bamboo house building) and Ko Ki (bamboo farm & nursery). In both locations you will have the chance to immerse in Cambodian culture and way of life. Experience Cambodia’s rich culture and history and venture into places no tourists go. Get ready for a connection with the locals that is sure to stay close to your heart for years to come. Embrace adventure together with the power and purpose of contribution to be a part of creating incredible change. Though not a core focus of this journey, practices of gentle yoga and guided meditation will be incorporated into our day as an optional extra where possible. Just imagine stretching your body and mind overlooking the Meking River!
